(ANSA) - BOLZANO, 4 OTT - E' in programma lunedi' prossimo il tentativo di record dell' austriaco Felix Baumgartner, 43 anni, che si lancera' con il paracadute da un'altezza di 36.000 metri, dalla stratosfera. Dovrebbe diventare cosi' anche il primo uomo a sfondare il muro del suono in caduta libera. Da 5 anni lo sportivo pianifica il lancio con l'aiuto di circa 40 scienziati che hanno sviluppato una speciale tuta. Nel deserto del New Mexico salira' in quota in una capsula spaziale con un palloncino d'elio.

SQR(2X9.81X35000) = 828.673639 metri/secondo (calcolo di prima approssimazione) effettuato trascurando l'attrito con l'aria (che rende la velocità 'limite' di molto inferiore... ma un bel po') e pure trascurando la riduzione (leggera) di gravità a 36'000 metri di altezza (per cui velocità è ancora un po' inferiore) e, in ultima ipotesi, consigliandogli... di aprire il paracadute... NON al di sotto dei 1000 metri da terra (perchè se lo apre dopo... è f.esso).
